Beautiful spot on a small lake, very quiet( apart from the occasional quack from a duck on the lake😂) , really friendly staff both at the hotel and at the restaurant across from it . Plenty of parking, very good breakfast. We used it as a stop over on the way back to the UK from the Italian lakes

Close to Guebwiller, the hotel offers an enjoyable stay in the nature. You can hike and bike around. The area is very calm. The room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel is divided in 2 buildings. Our stay was in the older part; the room had been partially renovated however the room was carpetted and it was NOT clean . A small balcony facing the lake was cute though needed repair. Bathroom and bedroom facilities were clean and good. Probably other building is newer. Young staff with little hospitality experience and limited english. Particulary problematic at Terraces restaurant where we waited 25minutes for a menu .Reception service was variable. Mostly efficient though not very friendly. You had an impression you were inconveniencing them. Finally upon checkin we were confronted with error of Expedia in confirming breakfast was included. Reception honored the booking however it was an uncomfortable start to our 2 day stay. My rating is 7 out of 10

We had a great stay at Hotel Les Rives. The staff were exceptionally friendly, flexible, and helpful when we wanted to extend our stay by an extra night. Their excellent service made all the difference. We would gladly stay here again!

Motorcycle Tour overnight stay

We had a long trip to get to the hotel and need to phone to say we were still arriving which was not a problem. A comfortable clean hotel with helpful staff. The hotel is by a pond with a decking area. There is plenty of parking which is shared with another hotel and a pizzeria. This is a good based for the Vosges mountains.
