"Fisherman’s cottage is the most beautiful cottage we have stayed in. Mundesley is a lovely, peaceful village, with a stunning beach. The owners contacted me prior to our stay, with lots of information. We had trouble with the lights (a fuse had gone) and I spoke with the owners and within 10 minutes someone was round to fix the problem. The cottage was spotlessly clean and furnished beautifully. "very beautiful old building with lots of character, in the heart of the city, surrounded with lovely pubs and wine bars and next to the stunning cathedral. Comfortable modern rooms and great restaurant. Polite helpful staff and great food. Was a bit disappointed that we were given two menus (one was a set menu) and told that the chef 'may' permit you to swap starters, only to be told by the waiter that took our order, I couldn't swap my starter! Only watch out is if you have difficulty walking, there are steps to different levels and the lift to the rooms is located up an upper level, reached by steps."
