Well worth the money paid.Posted Feb 17, 2017
Has a private beach, good choices for breakfast, short distance away from the airport. The service stuff were extremely polite and always smiling. Not forgetting their good grasp of English. Definitely about 15-20mins drive away from Chaweng. However the fisherman village (Bophut) is almost as good as that.

Totally missing its potential. Won't returnPosted Feb 14, 2017
Pros: friendly staff and decent breakfast
Cons: See above: almost everything
Location: Location is terrible and little to do nearby. Beach un-usable. Taxi everywhere. Two things one can walk to nearby is the Buddha Statue and a large
i) HORRIFIC noise: I have never seen anything like this (and I have travelled all over the world) - they have built the main generator underneath the hotel beds. literally. the entire room is shaking and until about 2am every night the humming noise is terrible and you won't sleep! if you dare staying in this hotel - bring earplugs! strong ones. We complained every night and they didn't turn it off. "this is normal" was the response we got from staff. Btw, the hotel is also right underneath the starting route for the planes from the airport, so you have them right over your head every 30-60minutes. ii) Location: there's actually nothing around the hotel. no bars, no restaurants, and no real shopping (other than a 7-Eleven about 400m walk away). Anywhere you need to take a taxi to, which costs min. 400 bath one way for a family, or 800 return. No exceptions, and the hotel shuttle costs the same as well. So add at least US$30/day to the price of the hotel to make it comparable to Chaweng or other locations. (or $60/day if you want to visit two locations). Note: the "beach" at the hotel is next to the harbour and the water very dirty, so there's no-one swimming there. And staff tell you to take a taxi to another beach. The beach there is good for making sunset pictures, but that's it. iii) mosquitoes: the hotel grounds are actually nicely done with lots of ponds, fish, and plants. unfortunately there are lots and lots of mosquitoes breeding in them, and you get bitten constan

On the beachPosted Feb 6, 2017
This resort is very nice. Three gorgeous pools to choose from and the breakfast at the restaurant is fantastic. The room was very modern with polished concrete floors. The bathroom and room were both very clean and fresh. The king bed was pretty comfortable (keeping in mind all beds in Thailand are hard). It was easy to walk to the big Buddha. My only tip would be that the restaurant is quiet expensive for Thailand and you can get food for much cheaper if you just walk down the road to many other restaurants. You can hire scooters from the resort but there was also a good hire place about 100m down the road. It was cheaper to get a local taxi to get back to the ferry than book through the resort. Overall though was a lovely place to stay and would recommend it.
