海鸥溪泉

The building is in a perfect spot if you want access to restaurants, shops, a casino and walking along the Lake. I was traveling alone as an older female and felt comfortable walking in the downtown area and down by the Lake. It's unfortunate that the hotel doesn't have their own parking lot. I parked in the Casino parking lot across the street from the hotel for the night. The cost was $16.00 for a 24 hour time period. There was plenty of room but I was there on a Monday night. The room was spotless and decorated wonderfully for the time period of the building. Lots of history happened in that building I'm sure. The hallways were clean and time period decorated. I am not used to checking into a hotel totally online, with no front desk with a person manning it. My check-in went fairly well but it would have been nice to have a person to ask questions. I was really hoping there would have been a drink machine in the building but I couldn't find one. Overall it was a lovely stay and I would stay there again.

Meh...the guy who checked us in was nice. Not overly helpful though. We were looking for local suggestions but didn't get any. Hotel is a renovated wharehouse. Cool story, and the bedroom was nice. But we were traveling with our grandson and booked a room with a sofa sleeper but had no bedding for it. The mattress had urine stains and the thermostat didn't work. The room stayed at 75, which was a bit much. Front desk brought the bedding up pretty fast. Didn't sleep well because that so missed breakfast. Not the experience we were hoping for

The location and employees are absolutely nice! They also provide great dinning suggestions for either fine dining or casual dining.
