"Had a bit of a hard time getting on the right road to access the hotel. Once there the room and staff were great. In fact in the morning there were 2 buses of people who overwhelmed the breakfast area, literally taking all the food as soon as it came out, leaving nothing for other guests who were not willing to be so pushy. The poor cook and staff were in tears but did an excellent job holding it together. They tried to accommodate those of us not with the foreign travelers on the busses. It was the craziest behavior of people at a breakfast buffet we have ever seen. The staff was excellent in such a weird frenzy. "

"This perfect, little quaint hotel is almost a hidden gem. The town Arlesheim (Dornach) is a small town just outside Basel. Easy transit getting here. We were lucky to check in early and had a wonderful room overlooking the garden. The hotel manager and all the staff are very warm, welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel. "

"The hotel was very nice. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood. Reception is closed early Saturdays and all day Sunday, so make sure to send questions/request in advance during this hours. Otherwise check in was no trouble (key in safety box ) Public transportation was very close and easy to navigate. "
