"This home was a wonderful stay for an extended family vacation. The home was spacious and well stocked. The outside area was wonderful. Our only negative feedback was regarding the lake, this is more of a fishing lake than a water sports lake in our opinion, and our boat was too large for this lake. Not the fault of the owners and we were able to enjoy their pontoon for the week which was very nice! However we would not bring our boat back to this location. Otherwise the stay was perfect!"

"We had such a fantastic stay at this adorable carriage house. This is a perfect location if you choose to spend the day relaxing at the beach just steps away from the house, see the pictured rocks, go hiking or explore one on of the areas waterfalls. The host Robin was amazing and we cannot wait to visit again nect summer."

"This place is a wonderful little cabin, very clean and well stocked with necessities. The view from the deck is overlooking the river, and the property is very spacious for walking and wandering. The only downside is the traffic noise from the nearby bridge. We would still consider booking this cute cabin next time we travel to the UP! "

"Cabin 5 is the one to choose. It is more private than the others. The privacy fence is a gift, and the back/hot tub view is picturesque. The AC was helpful on the sticky, hot, and humid days and even when it rained. Some of the amenities weren't as described. The lake is not a great kid swimming lake. It was hard to get to the water, and the dock didn't have a ladder, but my kids figured it out and swam like fish. They also caught fish. All of the boaters were very respectful and they enjoyed a...

"We had a great time. It was 2 Best Friends in our 60's so an extra bed was required we brought a blow up and moved some furniture around so ended up working well. The directions for how to get to property need to be updated as well as marking the drive with address. We drove 9 miles out of our way looking for it but property owner was quick to respond when we called and very helpful throughout our stay. Lots of spiders which is understandable in that lot is very shaded, but we killed multiple....

"We loved everything about this home and the surrounding property. As others have mentioned - it's a good 30 minutes to any neighboring towns, so we made sure plan our meals ahead and brought groceries with us. The house is lovely, spacious and was perfect for our 3 generations and two dogs. It was exactly as described and we enjoyed seeing the deer cross the lawn, beautiful sunrises across the basin and the comfortable indoor/outdoor seating options! We hope to be back again some time!"

"Great location for ice fishing and snowmobile riding. Up North Lodge restaurant/bar is only minutes away with a great menu selection.We rented two cabins which were perfect for our party of 8. Kitchens are a bit small, but have everything you need for cooking meals. Host was great to work with."

"We came for a lityle getaway to relax and wind down between a busy summer and the start of our daughter's senior year. We couldn't have found a more perfect spot. Both cottages were just as described and the seperate bunkhouse was perfect for the teenagers to have their own space. The little deck over looking the river was the perfect spot to sit with a glass of wine and abook. Deb was very communicative and checked in to be sure we had everything we needed.
