“We really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and cosy. Checking in and out was easy and all the information we needed was provided beforehand. There is a handy guide to use upon arrival about the accomdation and area. It was lovely to be able to have our dogs there and it had plenty of space for them to run around.”

It has everything you need to cook with. It's lovely and cosy of an evening. The only thing I struggled with both times is finding the correct turn into the site! Will definitely be back again.”

“Exceptionally clean property, beautiful views, very quiet location, lovely cake on arrival from the host. Small but perfectly formed and although the furniture is a little dated, it has everything you could possibly need. Real fire with plenty of wood. Well equipped kitchen and fairly new bathroom.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Jackdaw cottage, the garden was particularly good for the dog, and there are good walks nearby. However, we did have to create a bit of a barrier for a space in the fence as our dog could jump up the wall by the gate. Would overall recommend for dog owners.”

“We loved it despite me having a chest infection followed by rotten cold!Peaceful, spotless, comfortable, everything we needed.Didn’t find a key for back door but it didn’t matter as we did loading that way then locked from inside and used front which I managed okay with my crutches.We enjoyed the fact that no live tv channels as we explored streaming with good effect.Not to be missed, Red Kite Feeding,Hay on Wye book shops and castlesMany wonderful walks I unfortunately can no longer……

“The views are stunning, the local town is lovely. The first look of badgers view we were so excited. Then we entered to hut. It didn’t smell clean, the floors were dirty luckily there was a broom there so I could sweep up the last guests dirt. The kitchen is in much need of a make over, the sides are in awful condition, the fridge is cracked, the floor is all over the place, it’s starting to dip. The floor boards are starting to come apart this is due to the damp. The whole kitchen looked dirty.……

“Cottage was in a beautiful setting, peaceful and rural. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was perfect. Beds were ridiculously comfy and with the peace and quiet we slept like logs! Tracey the owner was friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of helpful information about the area. And we even had a fabulous welcome from Bella the puppy! We will definitely come back and recommend it to others.”
