“This is a fascinating property that was a pleasure to be in. Muksin and Catherine were great host. The room was excellent. There are some limitations if you have difficulty walking because of the nature of the steps. If you are fully mobile, it will be a wonderful experience.”

“I stayed at Kaliwa Lodge for 4 nights and was impressed by the tranquil and peaceful environment. The terrace is a great place to watch the sacred Mountain Kilimanjaro at different times of the day, and be connected to the nature. I brought along my yoga mat to practise on the terrace every morning. Food is great too, they prepared wonderful vegetarian food for me on request everyday. Staff is very nice and treat every guest with their heart. I really enjoyed staying at Kaliwa Lodge. ”

“Das ganze Hotel ist vernachlässigt........., unglaublich, dass wir für ein Einzelzimmer über 80Euro zahlen mußten. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, aber brauchen Renovierung, besonders die Bäder....... Prima ist die Lage, man kann vieles in der Stadt zu Fuß erledigen oder aber ein TucTuc nutzen. Das Personal war freundlich, aber alles super langsam.......”
