Need a better gift shop. Poor selection. Overall staff was friendly. Front desk staff could be more attentive. Beautiful resort. Rooms were beautiful!

Nice hotel; not full of itselfPosted Nov 16, 2015
Pros: close beach, food is great.
Location: walking distance to Swizzle Inn. Across from hiking path to cave and Blue Hole.
Stayed here twice this Fall. Nice beach, rooms are comfortable. Took the bus into Hamilton; an easy trip.

A Perfectly Amazing VacationPosted Nov 10, 2015
Pros: The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the caves and bay are amazing. The location is perfect for exploring the entire island.
Cons: More dining options would be nice. Something between all inclusive and nothing since we don't drink alcohol and one of us is a vegetarian.
Location: The airport is a 5 minute ride away, and historic St Georges isn't much further. A perfect place to explore, with beaches all around.
Our breath was taken away from the moment we stepped into the beautiful lobby, and we didn't get it back our entire stay. The views from anywhere on the property are picture postcard perfect. The spacious grounds are filled with lush native trees and flowers, and the air is filled with the sounds of birds, tree frogs, and surf. The beach, the pool, and the jacuzzi are wonderful and accessible. To make it perfect the staff is beyond friendly and is available to help in any way imaginable. This was without doubt our most enjoyable and memorable vacation ever.

Hotel lovely, not luxury, rooms small, staff greatPosted Nov 2, 2015
Pros: Low key and relaxing, helpful staff, good food, nice pool and beach and dining area by pool plus the grottos/caves are great
Cons: CAUTION - property sloped - lots of stairs between lodging facilities and main/dining facilities - furniture could be upgraded - bathroom small
Location: Kind of between everything, near nothing - this is a weakness
If you are prepared to relax in a lovely low key environement - this is the place. If oyu want to be in the middle of it all, with action all around you, it is not.

Nice resort, on the bus line, with beautiful beachPosted Oct 21, 2015
Pros: Location...away from the commercial streets of Hamilton. Clean and in good repair. Concierge desk very helpful. Beautiful beach.
Cons: Since we snorkeled every day and needed to shower more than once on some days, would have liked a few more towels. Toilet seat repair done promptly.
Location: Walk to one restaurant and an ice cream shop, but the shop keeps " Bermuda" time schedule so we couldn't rely on their posted hours.
The staff accommodated our request for two beds and minimal steps. The resort is located on a hillside so it is impossible to avoid steps....There are about 200 steps/stairs from the beach to the lobby but even with my recently sprained ankle, I managed to do the gradual steps at least once a day. Could have asked for a van ride if necessary. Plenty of help available for assistance with luggage. No wait at all for a taxi, but be aware, taxi fares add up quickly. Gas is expensive. All the taxi drivers charge the same and all are very nice and honor special requests. Take time to figure out the bus/ferry schedule. ($69 for a week.) It's a great system, but during busy times you may have to wait for a second or third bus if all buses are full. Ferries can be cancelled on a whim....you know, "Bermuda" time...things are very relaxed and everyone is pleasant. School children on the buses are very polite. Excellent flights with Delta....nonstop from Boston.

an adequate hotelPosted Oct 19, 2015
Pros: small beach, little current spa dinner in the pergola
Cons: service the room is like a Hampton Inn!
Location: 3 minutes from airport runway
the lack of room service, lack of quality service (e.g. there is a service charge for services like the bell staff, which were non-existent when we checked in; and the pool bartenders, both of which had the personality of cardboard cut-outs, although the cut-outs would have at least had smiles)
