    Top Times to Visit Bermuda

Although Bermuda is gorgeous throughout the entire year thanks to its geographical location, the summertime is one of the best times to fully engage in the natural scenery and local cuisine. The surf picks up and the activity around the island noticeably increases during summer in Bermuda. However, if you are on a budget, flights to Bermuda are actually much less expensive in the fall season, and you may be able to get a more exclusive, personalized experience in the fall because of the reduced foot traffic around this time of year.

The Sights and Sounds of the Area

If you can pull yourself away from relaxing at the beachfront, Bermuda is full of activities to fill your schedule at any time of day or night. There is an abundance of water sports, such as parasailing, motor boating, and kayaking. You can even go diving in some of the clearest water in the world. The Reef Explorer is a tour that covers all of these activities, much like a mini-cruise. If you love golf, Bermuda has some of the most amazing courses around, with the Port Royal Golf Course boasting one of the most celebrated holes in golf thanks to its fantastic views.

Once you are done golfing, you can take advantage of one of the many cycling trails on the resort, or cap the day off with a rousing game of tennis. The Royal Naval Dockyard is one of the most popular attractions in Bermuda as is the Bermuda Perfumery at Stewart Hall in St. George's. Civil War buffs can even visit the Bermuda National Trust Museum in the Globe Hotel, a central hub for the Confederacy in the 1860s.

    Your Accommodations in Bermuda

The resorts in Bermuda have some of the most beautiful skylines and beach views of any vacation spot in the world. Bermuda resorts are well-known for gathering food and drink from around the world, and the restaurants specialize in serving codfish dishes, special fish chowder dishes, and pawpaw casserole.

Bermuda resorts have furniture flown in from around the world as well with silk from the Middle East and high thread-count linen from Africa. Many feature marble floors and tabletops in the bathroom and living area. They also provide a few of the comforts of home like coffeemakers, irons, and Wi-Fi. The best part about Bermuda accommodations is that you can choose your view based on the type of scenery that you want to wake up to every morning, so check Expedia.com to see what options are available.

    "Wonderful place to stay"
We were there for only 3 nights. The hotel was beautiful, the staff friendly, extremely helpful and more than willing to make certain all of our needs were taken care of. I am already planning a return stay at Fairmont South Hampton.

    "Quiet and romantic"
Don't let other people deceive you, this was a great hotel. I went during low season (January 14-17) and me and my husband were probably one of the few there. I have heard that during high season gets busy there but I don't like crowds. The staff lets you be and go wherever you want to. They are sweet and polite. When you need extra spoons or forks to eat food you brought they don't give you attitude. I got there like at 11am and they let me check in anyways although checking in was at 3pm. I love it and will definitely be back. The only thing is that the food at the restaurant is expensive but food is expensive everywhere, remember Bermuda is only like 25 miles long and everything is imported. But we were literally 10 minutes from the beach and our bedroom overlooked the reef from Elbow beach! Ah that was so romantic. Just so that you understand my review I have been to almost every island (and I'm Dominican, which means I know what Punta Cana, Puerto plata, la romana, Juan dolio, boca chica, all inclusive means), but this hotel was just different. Very relaxing. If you are really into all inclusive type of environment this may not be for you, but since I love both things, the staying for two nights to get entertained at an all inclusive or the freedom of not having to stay in cuz I already pre paid for everything, like Coco Reef, then, yeah I loved it!! Besides people in Bermuda are so sweet it's weird. I loved their kindness, so it will do you good to explore the island.

    "Lovely Harbour View"
Good central location, close to Ferry Terminal using hotel's 5 minute ferry shuttle, with well kept grounds, pool and fitness room. "Tea/coffee making facilities in room" consisted of a kettle, a few teabags, packets of instant coffee, sugar, and powdered creamer. Misleading and not up to the standard of an otherwise excellent hotel.

I was not disappointed! Everything was just as lovely as I remembered. I will return and stay at the Grotto Bay again.

The hotel is beautiful and the views are spectacular! The staff are all very polite and accommodating. The room was clean and they even cleaned the room 2x a day. The hotel truly lived up to its price. They made our stay truly special. The only disappointment for us was that their private beach was closed due to construction.
