    Top Times to Visit Bermuda

Although Bermuda is gorgeous throughout the entire year thanks to its geographical location, the summertime is one of the best times to fully engage in the natural scenery and local cuisine. The surf picks up and the activity around the island noticeably increases during summer in Bermuda. However, if you are on a budget, flights to Bermuda are actually much less expensive in the fall season, and you may be able to get a more exclusive, personalized experience in the fall because of the reduced foot traffic around this time of year.

The Sights and Sounds of the Area

If you can pull yourself away from relaxing at the beachfront, Bermuda is full of activities to fill your schedule at any time of day or night. There is an abundance of water sports, such as parasailing, motor boating, and kayaking. You can even go diving in some of the clearest water in the world. The Reef Explorer is a tour that covers all of these activities, much like a mini-cruise. If you love golf, Bermuda has some of the most amazing courses around, with the Port Royal Golf Course boasting one of the most celebrated holes in golf thanks to its fantastic views.

Once you are done golfing, you can take advantage of one of the many cycling trails on the resort, or cap the day off with a rousing game of tennis. The Royal Naval Dockyard is one of the most popular attractions in Bermuda as is the Bermuda Perfumery at Stewart Hall in St. George's. Civil War buffs can even visit the Bermuda National Trust Museum in the Globe Hotel, a central hub for the Confederacy in the 1860s.

    "Beautiful property, great trip"
We stayed at Grotto Bay for our tenth anniversary and it was a great trip. The resort itself is a 10 minute ride from the airport so we were settled into our room within 30 minutes of our plane landing. The Deluxe Oceanview room was nice, though the location of our building gave us a better view of the bay (still beautiful). We got the all-inclusive plan and felt that it was worth the money spent. The food was good, though the waiter service was at times disorganized. The grounds were well-kept and you could get postcard quality photos from most places around the resort. Overall I would recommend the Grotto Bay.

"Nice beach, nice place to vacation."
This resort has some age but has been maintained well. The beach is very clean, the water is shallow and beautifully clear. Food is available as well as drinks right on the beach. The beach is private so you don't have vendors trying to sell trinkets. The staff is very accommodating and always friendly. Food is expensive in Bermuda and this is true at Cambridge. From our room it is a downhill walk to the beach. Thank goodness you can call for a lift back up the hill in a golf cart to your room. Great breakfast included. BBQ nite great!!!

Check in was very bad. A trainee was on the computor and was very slow and had great difficulty trying to work out the bookings Arrived with my family and was told that only one room was ready at present so we should all go to that room and wait for our rooms which we were quite happy to do. She gave us the key and when we got to the room (with all our luggage) we found the room was locked from the inside(chain was on the door) as someone was in the room. We knocked on the door and a lady wrapped in a towel open the door to see who was there! So we had to go to front desk again to get another room!! Service in the restaurants was also poor. One morning it took over 45minutes for us to get cereal coffee and toast. Not very impressive. Hope you will improve your service on these matters. Also placed the Card as instructed on my bed for change of bed sheets but the sheets were never changed! All above needs attention to improve your service.
