You'll be surrounded by the sights of trees and sounds of ocean and birds. The property is 2 acres of lush Hana rainforest in a perfect location. WE DO NOT PROVIDE WASHER OR DRYER The space Hana Organic Farm is a fruit farm conveniently located within a mile of Hana Bay, Waikaloa Beach, Fagan's Cross, Hotel Hana Restaurant, Spa and Bar and Hana Cultural Center and Museum. Also within a mile are many delicious food trucks along with Hana Ranch Restaurant and Bar, Hasegawa Store and Hana Ranch Store. We are 5-10 minute drive to Waianapana State Park (Black Sand Beach), Hamoa Beach, Hana Lava Tube, Kahanu Gardens/Pi'ilani Hale, and many other amazing Hana landmarks. Oheo Gulch (Seven Sacred Pools), Wailua Falls, and the Pipiwai trails and waterfalls (Bamboo Forest) are all within 11 miles of Hana Organic Farm and Retreat. Other things to note Self check in and check out with lock box on front door of your unit. Please arrive before dark. WIFI The wifi in the property is through satellite internet. Currently it is the only available internet provider in this specific location. Wifi speed may slow or it may not work in inclement weather. LOCATION It’s in jungle like settings so BUGS, ANTS, MOSQUITOS or Flying insects and critters are to be expected. We don’t want you to get eaten alive by mosquitoes so we highly recommend you to always close the doors and make sure to bring bugs spray. GECKOS/LIZARDS are also expected they like to eat the bugs and sometimes you might hear them at night. So if you're not ready to experience them, then this place is not for you. HANA HIGHWAY The hana highway is a very tricky road to drive, if you’re an inexperienced driver you might find it intimidating. Make sure you do more research about it before visiting Hana. Always pull over to the locals, drive with caution and don’t over speed. STORES Hana Ranch Store & Hasegawa Store - they are a mile from our place, both store have plenty options of groceries and beverages. FARMER’S MARKET DAY If you like to try local vegetable, fruits, bread, juices etc you are welcome to check out the Farmer’s Market every Friday from 3pm-5pm. The listing stated multiple times that laundry was an amenity and as we knew our evening activities would be limited due to lack of tv, we saved our laundry only to be told it was a NO GO. Host had it in a location on his listing that I was still never able to see on my end except at the very, very bottom of one spot where it did not mention laundry. However, this had been a concern for a previous guest in ‘24, so they should have been aware.In addition, we knew of the lack of ac, but this is definitely one location that could use it due to high humidity, lack of cross breezes, and the wild roosters & nearby road noise. In this location, be prepared for a pre-5 am rooster call that doesn’t stop! Private peaceful close to town but not too close. The listing says laundry but that is not available. This is newly constructed and it’s probably not more than five years old. Everything is in really beautiful condition and really well-built.
