“The Boar's Abode was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. There was plenty of room for our entire family. The kitchen worked great for cooking all of our meals and grilling outside was great. The massage chair was a popular relaxation spot for the teens and young adults. Would definitely rent this place again. ”

“We came with extended family…grandparents down to middle school aged grandchildren. The cabin was clean and spacious. Everyone had their own space but we had lots of room for family games and meals. We loved the kayaks and it was easy to get our boat in the water and hooked up to the dock for tubing and skiing. “My parents, my husband, son and I stayed at this farmhouse for two nights while we explored the area around Kensington where my parents grew up in the 1930's. The location is super beautiful and peaceful. We loved watching the birds feed, the deer, and all of the flowers and trees. The quiet was spectacular. We also saw sandhill cranes, trumpeter swans and other wildlife. The house was so clean and had everything we could want. The kitchen was so well stocked with dishes and other amenities.……

“Our family loved our stay! We made use of the heated garage for meals and games. There were many conversation areas. The game area in the basement was perfect for the younger ones in the group. The beds were very comfortable. It was great to have four main ones and an overflow with many bunks. 4 bathrooms, 2 up, 2 down was an amazing plus. “This house is the perfect place for a friends or family trip. There are three bedrooms on the top floor, and the basement is basically an open area with 3, full size, bunk beds. We had 5 adult couples, and we fit comfortably. 2 couples shared the basement space, with the remaining having their own rooms on the top floor.
