"A Terrible Experience I had an incredibly disappointing stay at Harness Resort, which I booked through Expedia for two nights in their top-tier Deluxe Suite. From the moment we arrived, the service was terrible. The resort staff didnā€™t even know we had booked the Deluxe Suite. The manager had to make a call to confirm our reservation instead of welcoming us properly. Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Harichaur?
The best area to stay in Harichaur is in the central village area, particularly near the main market and the Kalika Temple.

This central part of Harichaur is the most developed and convenient for visitors. It's where you'll find the primary guesthouses, small shops, and eateries. The main road through Harichaur, often simply referred to as the "bazaar area," is the focal point of daily life and provides easy access to local services.

For solo travelers or couples looking for convenience and a sense of local connection, staying in the central village is ideal. You'll be within walking distance of local tea shops, small restaurants serving traditional Nepali food, and the Kalika Temple, a significant local landmark.
When is the best time to go to Harichaur?
The best time to visit Harichaur is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) months.

These periods offer the most pleasant weather conditions, with moderate temperatures and clear skies, which are ideal for outdoor activities like trekking and enjoying the natural scenery. Spring brings blooming rhododendrons, adding color to the landscape, while autumn provides excellent visibility for mountain views.

For travelers interested in trekking, these seasons offer comfortable conditions for exploring the trails around Harichaur without the extreme heat of summer or the heavy rainfall of the monsoon season.
Can I cancel my hotel reservation on Expedia?
You can cancel your hotel reservation on Expedia, though it depends on the cancellation policy of your booking. Most bookings are refundable if canceled within 24-48 hours of the scheduled arrival. Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy. If free cancellation is available, you can cancel directly through your Expedia account by logging in, going to "My Trips", and selecting your reservation. To find flexible deals, filter your search by "Fully refundable property" for hotels in Harichaur.
