"When I first checked in and went to the room I was assigned, it was not the room I booked. I booked a room with a king bed and a pullout sofa bed. I wanted a spacious room plus a large enough bed to be able to toss and turn without pushing my boyfriend off the bed, so it had to be a king bed. The room I was given was a standard room with a queen bed. I went back to the hotel associate and explained this wasn't what I booked and definitely not what I paided for (I prepaid, the king bed w/sofa room was significantly more than a standard queen). I told him, don't care if it has the sofa bed or not but it has to be a king bed. Without issues he was able to switch my room to an even more spacious room. Bed was super comfortable, place was extremely clean and staff was friendly. "

"This is a classic Adirondack camp that through love and attention to detail by the wonderful hosts has truly earned the title of Adirondack Cottage. Very clean, welcoming, and has all those little things you dont think about until you need it. "

"Very peaceful and private with easy access to the cabin. Had split wood on deck and back up on site. The owners are super nice. The only down side, we might have missed was we needed to bring our own bed sheets. Other than that everything was amazing!"

"Boyd Pond was the destination for our most recent sister getaway. This cabin was incredibly welcoming and CLEAN! We did not bring our pets with us but it was so wonderful to see how pet-friendly the rental was...food/water dishes, poo bags, leashes, etc. The kitchen with stocked with everything we needed and more. Beds were comfortable and we stayed nice and warm throughout our snowy stay. Our host was gracious and responsive which is always a plus! We would not hesitate to book a repeat stay. "

"Everything at the cabin was clean and in excellent condition. The owners spared no expense when furnishing the place. Every correspondence from us to them was answered immediately. All that and a beautiful setting on the Independence river too."

"Nice place in a very friendly neighborhood. The lake is beautiful and I even caught a nice largemouth bass right off the dock. Good hiking with great views nearby also. "
