Meadow Pine Cabins-Wild Thing Hideaway

Located on 450 acres in Hatfield, AR on the corner of Meadow Pine Cabins property. The property contains private creek, ponds to fish in, and beautiful views of the Ouachita Mountains.

The Hideaway is one bedroom with queen size bed, and one full bath decorated in safari. The master bedroom has Direct TV so can you enjoy watching cable TV in the living room or master bedroom.

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to relax. Come enjoy the fire pit in the front yard, or soak in the hot tub on the back porch. Enjoy the Meadow Pine Cabin's private four wheeler trails within a short ATV drive from the cabin. Feel free to bring your own ATV's, or rent a UTV rental from Doc's UTV Rentals LLC. Doc's UTV Rentals rents exclusively to Meadow Pine Cabins guests. Contact us for more information regarding UTV rentals!

We strive to provide everything that a guest may need except for personal items and food. Kitchen comes fully stocked with pots & pans, serving utensils, and glassware. We provide all towels and linens. Also provided is paper products such as toilet paper and paper towels.

Beautiful,Quiet, Peaceful Place and Phenomenal host.
If you are looking for a place to get away, sit out on the porch and watch the sunset or sunrise this is the perfect place. Holly was very quick to respond and everything went perfect. We can’t wait to go back.

Peaceful and perfect
We had the best time. Just wanted a little getaway for me and my spouse to have some time to ourselves without the kids or any other everyday distractions and this was perfect. We were basically on our own land. Couldn’t see or hear any other guest in the other cabins. The house was well cleaned and smelled wonderful. The hot tub was definitely a plus. Spent a lot of our time there. Holly was very responsive with the few questions we had. All and all it was just what we needed. I’m just sad it’s over.

We absolutely loved the location of the cabin, it was very clean. The bed was comfortable not super plush but comfortable. Communication with Holly was super easy! We were greatly disappointed that the UTV rental was not offered anymore as it is still listed in the listing an on their website. Seeing that was one reason why we chose to stay with meadow pines. They did tell us of other places to rent from, but it wasn’t the convenience like was advertised. The kitchen is very well stocked and ready to be used. The A/C worked very good and kept the cabin very cool. The decor was nicely done. They do supply a hotspot for wifi, but service was very sketchy, so if you need it for work it wouldn’t work very well. There are a few minor things that need to be addressed on the hot tub. It mostly worked :) the lights didn’t work an some of the jets didn’t work. Also the electrical box the wires were in was not covered. That being said it was still very useable. The water was also from a well I believe, a you would get lots of black flecks in your water. The ponds for fishing were nice we caught 3 bass, they are just a little hard to get too. Overall it was a very relaxing place to stay an lots of wildlife to view. We would recommend to others.

Amazing getaway
The cabin was so quaint and just perfect for our girl getaway! We loved the seclusion of the cabin. The firepit and the hot tub was the perfect touch. My friend and I loved hitting all the trails on the side by side. I will definitely be booking again!!! 10/10 stars!!!!!

My husband and I really enjoyed this property. We enjoyed riding in the day and the hot tub in the evenings. We loved the fact you can ride to Wolf Pen Gap straight from your cabin. The host have very specific directions to get you to Wolf Pen Gap with no problems. Loved, loved loved it.

I have to say this is one of the most peaceful places we have ever stayed. If you don't mind driving a little out of the way (which we did not), this place is for you. Accommodations were clean and well stocked. Wifi definitely does not work well out here so if that is a requirement, look elsewhere. We did not mind at all and enjoyed disconnecting. We saw a herd of deer grazing out front the morning after we checked in. We did have 3 dogs running around and it was a little off putting because it had rained so much and they were scratching at the front door and would not leave (if they hadn't been muddy I would have played with them lol). We come to Mena to see family so this will be our go to place next time.

My birthday was perfect!
I almost want to give a bad review so nobody will want to come here. But to be honest, we had the best time! Loved the quiet solitude and the fact that my dog was finally able to run around and enjoy being off leash. We saw lots of deer right from our windows. The only thing that didn’t work for us was the UTV rental. The trails were extremely rough and we ended up turning back due to it feeling very hazardous. Also it was much louder than expected and the dog was scared to death the whole time. But now we know! Walking the trails and meadows was awesome. We can’t wait to return!
