![I refused to disclose where this beach was on Instagram or my blog but I'll share the secret here. This is Hellyer Beach - it's hidden from view from the highway. Thousands of people would drive by with no idea what they're missing. To the east you can see the "Sleeping Camel" of Rocky Cape National Park. To the west is the distinctive sight of The Nut at Stanley.

Directions: You take the Hellyer turn off from the highway and park straight away. Don't turn the corner. Just park the car and walk straight ahead, up the little track between the trees and you'll come out on this huge beach. "This venue is immaculately maintained, the staff are exceptionally friendly , polite and easy to deal with during your stay. The property has an onsite restaurant and the breakfast menu is great value and a very good serving. I would highly recommend this venue for anyone needing a nice, relaxing stopover from touring Tasmania and it is very close to Burnie Wynyard airport for a quick 1 hour flight home to Melbourne without all the hussle and bustle of normal airports. 10/10 rating which I never give anyone or anywhere."
