When we asked about this, the landlady became very unpleasant and threatened that if we did not pay, we could just cancel. There was a strong and very unpleasant smell in the bedroom - smelled of old sweat. I think it came from the sofa bed, where they had clearly tried to remove something/stain. "A lovely house, very clean and tidy with a modern interior. The garden shown in the picture is smaller than it looks as you only rent the back half of the house but there is a great outdoor decking space for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Sven was very helpful showing us around the house when we arrived. We were lucky with a week of hot weather so the local lake beach and outdoor pool were perfect."
