Right along Gran Via and a vibrant jam packed sidewalk/vehicle thoroughfare. The hotel though is a wonderful and quiet retreat. The hotel also has a top floor with a small veranda and the rest of the floor is well appointed rooms with sofas, chairs and small bar. Great place to relax. One can catch views of the downtown core from up high. Overall, front desk staff were friendly, helpful and engaged. The room and bed we had were quite comfortable along with necessary air conditioning for those very hot August/September afternoons. The morning breakfast option was quite good, with plenty of food choices. A great location and would stay there again if we get back to Madrid.

This hotel is gorgeous and located on the main strip, Gran Via, and is close to everything. The City points of interest are easily accessible from this central location. It's beautifully decorated. The hotel is stylish, modern and boho. The view is amazing from the balcony. The staff are really helpful. The spa is delightful and the steam room, sauna, and plunge pool is included with the stay.

First time with RIU hotel. I was bit disappointed with the service - check in was terribly slow and staff was rude. Room was clean but very odd design for tv. Bathroom water was flowing slow. Overall it was not a four star experience.

Great location, Spotless clean, wonderful staff and very good breakfeast. What else could ask for ?
