“We both thought that South Wood is absolute perfect house and location for a relaxing holiday, every thing is included for self catering or if you want to eat out there are several restaurants/pubs near by. “Cute little cottage near the sea. Lots of thought gone into providing everything you'd need from milk in the fridge to kids toys in the garage. Quite spacious too. The only thing to consider is the road is unmade and bumpy. Not a problem if you drive it slowly.Host was very helpful and answeted questions quickly. Useful tesco express on the next main road 3 minutes walk.Would thoroughly recommend and stay again. ”

“The cottage was smaller than expected, but don’t be put off by that!! It was all we needed for our stay. It’s very comfy and well equipped. Everything we needed for our week. We took our dog with us, but the garden is not secure right now, but that will be sorted in the near future. I’d measure the owner to find out. But it’s a very convenient location for some beautiful walks too. Really loved our stay xx”

“Fantastix stay. Huw was very friendly and communicative both before and during our stay. The property has everything we needed, nice comfy beds, good kitchen area (including more utensils and other equipment than normal in rentals) and confortable sitting area. Parking is really easy, location is really quiet but close to the main road and town. ”

“The Shepherd’s Hut was ideal. We could walk to Loddon easily along the river, it was very close but also super quiet and relaxing. In the evenings we sat outside hearing the birds, incl a cuckoo and watched the barn owl in the field behind. I know!! :)The cottage was really clean and comfortable with everything needed for a great stay. Paul & Sandra popped by and were so friendly and lovely. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Shepherds Hut to everyone. ”

Not far from the coast and lovely local villages + walks. Great to socialise in the evening in the different lounge areas and the hot tub was great! ”
