One of the nicest cabins we've stayed in. Can tell the owners put a lot of love into the cabin and made sure it was comfortable for kids and pets. Will definitely book it again next time we're in Higgins.

Great location, Summer or Winter

The cottage was well-appointed, new and nicely located. We went snowmobiling right out of the driveway and want to come back in the Summer as the lake is just down the street.

Grandson’s Birthday

We were there for my grandson’s birthday and meeting other family in the area. The rental was very clean and everything that we needed was there. They do a good job with little extra’s and communicating with me during stay.

Relaxing

Such a cute cabin filled with games also outdoor games not far from the state park. So happy yard was fenced in so our dog could roam around! Great place !communication with the host was phenomenal.

Nice place to get away. Very comfortable and up north cabin feel.

We appreciate the cabin was dog friendly and fence in yard for the dogs to be outside. The host was great keeping us updated and made sure we were taken care of.

Perfect Cottage for a Small Family!

Our crew really enjoyed our stay at the Funky Frog! Denise was a great host and the property was as described. Definitely a smaller cabin but perfect for our two night stay with two adults, a newborn, and a dog. Outdoor area was great if you wanted to entertain or have friends stop by for the day. Would recommend for a small family looking for a quiet retreat near the best lake in Michigan!

Higgins Lake Stay

I and 4 friends stayed at Denise's cabin for a wedding at Higgins Lake. The property was very clean slept 5 adults comfortable, and had ample amenities. It was also a short 5 minute walk to the lake. If I'm ever traveling up to Lake Higgins a second time, I would certainly consider staying here again.
