This home is 1/2 mile from Half Mile Farm, perfect for families, sleeps 8 adults and 2 children comfortably with 3.5 baths with 2 huge garden tubs and 3 showers, 4 queen beds upstairs in 2 huge bedrooms, king bed in master bedroom with full en suite bath, finished basement is darling with a ping-pong table, a trundle bed and full rain shower! Winter view of Satula Mountain. Full kitchen with updated appliances and full size washer/dryer. Large double deck to sit and watch nature while you have a glass of wine or coffee! Being so close to town, you truly have the best of both worlds in this quiet mountain retreat! Wide plank hardwood floors throughout, fresh paint, large library with huge picture windows to sit and read and enjoy the natural beauty of the Highlands! Walk to downtown and Mirror Lake or make the short drive. If you are going in town to an event, or some thing, fancy or at night, you will want to drive and not walk.

Beautiful home! Great location! The home had all the amenities. We had a fire in the living room fireplace, football on the tv, played games, made homemade meals and just truly had a wonderful time with family.

This wonderful house is the perfect home for the beauty of the setting, location to town, gorgeous kitchen stocked with all necessities, and a family to enjoy. We all loved it.

We were delighted to stay in Bonnie Cottage. The kitchen had everything we would have had at our home. Multiple spaces allowed us to gather and easily enjoy one another in this mountain refuge. We ate, gathered and played games at the dining room table. Library nooks and chairs were a favorite spot. We never turned on the television as there was much to do. There were 2 porches, one on the main level and one below which has a swing. From the porches we enjoyed the sunshine and the beautiful view. The home had air conditioning (while it is cooler in the mountains, sometimes air conditioning is an added plus). The decor was lovely, uplifting and so welcoming. And, most of all the owner was welcoming, responsive and a pleasure to work with. Many thanks for a great visit! We would definitely stay here again as it was wonderful for our family.

Bonnie Cottage is Wonderful

We rented Bonnie Cottage for a family weekend and everything was great. Communication with the owners was easy, the house is set up nicely, and the views were amazing. We will definitely be staying here again!

This is a really nice home located perfectly for shopping and sight seeing in Highlands (just a few minutes away) and Cashiers (15 minutes). Very nice size home with plenty of space for folks to spread out - clean and easy to communicate with owners. We have rented this home multiple times.

Great stay! Was in town a friend’s wedding and stayed here with a small group of friends. House was spacious, clean, and had all that we were looking for. Also conveniently located to center of town which was a ~5 min drive. Can certainly recommend!

Wonderful home with all of the amenities

We can't say enough about this vacation rental!! It's located just a few miles from Highlands and is clean and well stocked to accommodate 9 travelers. The hosts are very responsive as well.

We enjoyed our time in Highlands and had everything we needed for a cozy, relaxing weekend getaway furnished within the home. Very short drive into town. Great views, peaceful area, and clean accommodations. Host was wonderful!

Wedding Stay

The house and communication with the owner exceeded my expectations. We had 5 total couples here for a friends wedding and everyone was happy with our choice for lodging even though it was about a 7-8 minute drive from the downtown Main Street. Would definitely stay here again.

Best of times on Bonnie drive

Beautiful home and Wendi was extremely helpful responding to questions before our stay as well as during check-in. Her home is well stocked, very clean and nestled on a very quiet road. I would definitely recommend this home to friends and will stay here again if I am in the area.
