Our stay was a perfect beach getaway! The small hotel was as close to the beach as you could get with its own boardwalk going out to the sand. The rooms are updated and beds are comfy! When the sand and sun got a little too much, we very quickly rinsed off and jumped into the pool which was right outside our room! Staff was super helpful and were available until 8pm. Our ocean view room was more of a partial view since we were on the first floor but we loved being so close to the pool, the ice machine and the patio to relax at the end of the night. There was always just enough parking and we ubered into the busier parts of Carolina Beach for $6 where we had dinner, enjoyed the rides and then walked home.

Great value for the price! The hotel was clean, quiet, and conveniently located just a few miles from Wilmington’s downtown riverfront. The room was comfortable, the AC was nice and cold, and we slept well. The fresh coffee in the lobby and variety of grab-and-go breakfast options were a nice bonus.
