Built in 1848, the cottage is surrounded by high old trees. It is located off the road and on the edge of a small village. The open ceiling beams also provide coziness in the house, charming are also the small windows. The ceilings are 2.55 m high and the house is 300 m². It is located on a 5000 m² plot and offers a nice setting for relaxing with family or together with friends. Also very suitable for family celebrations. Experience the silence, broken only by the chirping of birds. Take an adventure walk to the many small cozy corners of the garden, taste red and black currants, cherries and gooseberries, and pick apples and pears from the old fruit trees of the garden. If you choose a winter stay, the property is no less idyllic when frost dews the windows and icicles hang from the thatched roof. After a fresh hike it is nice to lie on the sofa in front of the fireplace and enjoy the sound of the crackling fire. The property is located close to many places of interest. In Højer stands for example the largest Dutch windmill in Northern Europe from 1857, where you can experience the history of milling and the natural and cultural history of the Tøndermarsch and the Wadden Sea. The trip can also go to Møgeltønder, for example, where Schackenborg Castle is located. The castle is not open to the public, but in the summer there is the possibility to take part in guided tours of the Schackenborg Castle Garden. Tønder, Denmark's oldest trading town, is also worth a visit. Here stands Sønderjyllands Kunstmuseum with the Water Tower, which has a permanent exhibition of Wegner furniture and a fantastic view of the town, the Vidåen stream and the marshland. The town has many exciting pedestrian activities during the year and many good stores and restaurants. The shopping trip can possibly be complemented by a trip across the Danish/German border, which runs about 10 km from the property. Discover the Wadden Sea National Park and experience nature like nowhere else in Denmark. Allerdings ein sehr schmutziges Objekt, der Kaffee vom Vorgänger noch in den Kannen, die Fenster wohl nie geputzt. Die Terrassentür vom Grünspan befallen. Die Auflagen für die Gartenstühle bereits zerfressen und stinkend. Die Holzterrasse bei Feuchtigkeit ein sehr großes Risiko für Verletzungen, denn diese ist sehr glatt, durch die mangelnde Pflege. Der Besitzer ist zwar nett, hat aber zwei Tage mit Baumfällarbeiten verbracht und ebenfalls den Rasentraktor in Betrieb genommen als wir Kaffee trinken wollten. War sehr störend. In den Schränken war es auch sehr von Spinnenweben befallen und dreckig. Die Betten ebenfalls sehr muchtig. Die bestellte Bettwäsche war nicht vorhanden, erst nach einer Stunde telefonieren, weil sich niemand verantwortlich fühlte, wurde diese dann um 22.00 Uhr am Anreisetag endlich gebracht.
