"We had a little difficulty finding the right door, despite excellent picture instructions. Self check-in was easy.Wonderful White is on the second floor. The staircase and floors are beautiful. The apartment was spacious, especially for just the two of us. One bedroom was decorated for children with games and toys. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen nice, although we only used it for breakfast.The village is charming. The location is very convenient for day trips."

"Was very disappointed to walk in and discover the common areas reeked of cigarette smoke. After contacting the host they agreed to send the cleaner back who left a passive-aggressive note telling us she had cleaned thoroughly already. The rest of the rooms were decent but left much to be desired. The linens were dingy.The location is great. Short walk to the main areas and next to transit to the rest of the Wachau Valley."

"Helaas zwakke wifi En de matrassen in de slaapkamers zijn aan vervanging toe. En de sleutel overdracht was erg lastig een halfuur voor het huis gestaan de werkster heeft ons binnen gelaten en melde dat ze het ook een lastig systeem vond. Als we betere uitleg hadden gehad hadden we wel bij de sleutel kunnen komen. Maar voor de rest zeer tevreden over het huis En boeken we zeker onze volgende trip zeker weer bij Interhome . M.V.G F. "Had a great stay in this hotel. Very friendly staff and nice attention to detail. Enjoyed the breakfast which had a good number of options. The quality of the hotel was better than the 3 stars it carries. We also ate in the hotel restaurant for dinner once which was very good. Great to try local dishes and produce. Well connected location close to the train station and Melk Abbey which was well worth a visit. "

"We had a nice two night stay in the hotel. The room was big enough for our stay with comfortable bed. We loved the outdoor pool and the roof bar. We could rent bikes for a day to explore the area and cycle along Danube river. The breakfast was amazing with great selection. Reception staff was very helpful. The only negative is that the outside parking doesn’t have enough spaces for such big hotel, there is a big underground carpark for €16 a day which we thought it’s quite a lot and we thought should be free for hotel customers. Otherwise the hotel is great and was perfect for what we needed. "

"Great place to stay, extremelly clean, well arranged, friendly staff and ready to help. Very good restaurant, not too many options but they are changing the menu completelly on a daily basis! So for sure you will find someting new each time when you'll attend. The food quality is very good, starting from breakfast to dinner. Room impecably clean, everything very well maintained. The surronding area is very pleasant, on the Danube shore with hills around close to manh beautifully hystoricall small cities. A place to remember! Congratulation hotel team!"

"If you’re planning to visit Melk Abbey, be aware that Hotel Donauhof is not within walking distance—you’ll need to take a taxi, which costs about €16 each way. Alternatively, there's a bus that runs only once per hour. The hotel provides no in-room amenities—not even, tea or bottled water—and there is no air conditioning, which can be uncomfortable in the warmer months after June. There are no activity area around the hotel, with no restaurants nearby except the hotel’s own. During our stay, the elevator was out of order, and we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs. If you're visiting Melk Abbey, I would recommend staying in Melk itself. You'll find similar or lower prices, access to a charming small town, and several dining options within walking distance. "
