“The hotel had a bit of character and was well located for access to the coast and nearby sights. Our room was large and comfortable with a table and chairs, plenty of storage space. The grounds were a good size, well maintained and great for sitting outside. Dinner was very good in a conservatory dining room. Staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, happy to chat and offer advice on places to visit and things to do. A very enjoyable short stay ”

“Enjoyed our stay. Would be nice to park near to the pub, car park is in another field which is a short walk away it seemed safe enough though. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent, staff were very friendly and room was clean. Garden room has a bath only and as it’s in the eves, you can only crouch to have a shower, don’t stand up quick and hit your head like I did! The bed is also tucked under the eves on one side so again be aware when getting up in the night as it is very close to your……

“Had a wonderful three-night stay at The Gin Trap Inn during May 2025. We stayed in The Stables room with our young dog - it was her first trip away so she was a bit excited and nervous, which she demonstrated by barking more than she should ! The hotel staff were wonderful, dealing with her politely and lessening our embarrassment. Our room was super, with both a shower and a bath, lots of little extras like some cakes in our room on arrival and, despite being on the courtyard of the Inn, was……

“Just a one night stay-we were welcomed warmly and shown to a lovely room overlooking the marshes -with the sea in the distance. The room was light and airy,bed comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. The optional evening meal was very good...we chose from the 'specials'. The breakfast menu was extensive and service was timely...given that there were a lot of guests to serve. Overall a relaxing,pleasant stay”
