A quaint cottage with charming appeal, Whitaker Sea La Vie offers a traditionally styled bungalow with an updated kitchen on the sound front for your family vacation. The short stoop entry and exit to the sound front makes this house a great choice for families with members that have difficulty with stairs. The authentic hardwood floors throughout this home provide a welcoming and warm atmosphere while the scenic Topsail Sound and marsh views across the waterway invite you to slow down to Topsail Island time. Just beyond the backyard is your own swimming pool of sorts – the sound is ideal for swimming without the worry of waves and undertow and a fantastic location for kayaking. Two blocks over from the beach and three blocks south of downtown Topsail Beach’s family-friendly shops and restaurants, revel in the rustic cottage-inspired decor or sit out on the sound side screened porch to enjoy your sound front landscape at this country cabin on the waterway.

Beautiful porch and amazing location

We loved this house - it was great for our family of five with a designated “kids wing” of the house for sleeping/bathroom. The best part was the porch - shady, giant table, comfy furniture. We loved the flat yard and beach. The neighbors encroach the water a bit too much which limited our fishing and swimming and we wished there was a dock but all in all the location is perfect for walking to food and fun. Love that it’s pet friendly, and close to the sand bar.
