“One of the loveliest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Super comfortable and very quiet, despite its convenient location in the town center. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast seemed expensive, but there is a great bakery just a few doors down.”

“Talbot House is an experience. The common areas (living room, dining room) invite exploration, The English garden is quite beautiful. The continental breakfast was good. The bedrooms are attractive and comfortable, each equipped with a sink. There is one bathroom per floor and it is shared by all staying on that floor.”

“Old building that has been well maintained and kept the original look. We were put in the more modern portion to accommodate 3 of us. Pleasantly surprised with the open air museum and proximity to most WWI sites.”

“We voelden ons van bij de inschrijving direct thuis. Zeer vriendelijk onthaal, ons direct wegwijs gemaakt Kamer perfect in orde. Ontbijt : niets op aan te merken. Van alles en nog wat te vinden. Wij komen zeker terug. Proficiat aan alle personeel die met plezier en toewijding hotel runnen.”

“Lovely hotel in the centre of Ypres, close enough to the Menin Gate to hear The Last Post if you leave the window open. Staff are great, really helpful and the breakfast is awesome. Bonus points for the bed being big enough to play tennis on. This was our second visit and we're due back there at the end of this week.”

“Only thing I could complain about was the bed me and my partner rolling into the centre of the bed a bit of a dip in the mattress but overall it was nice little place to stay a night I would stay again ”

“We arrived rather late (after 9.00pm), was a bit tricky to find in the dark, but we managed it! Greeted by Hilde - lovely lady. Took us to our rooms, which were lovely & comfortable & clean. Allowed full use of the lounge & kitchen. There were 3 of us (adults). Very spacious. Shower lovely. Breakfast choice amazing. We stayed here having visited Bruges. Would definitely return & recommend. ”
