Lovely staff

My family and I were in room 217 on June 30 for 1 night. We got in late and we were exhausted from traveling. We arrived at 10pm and wanted to go straight to sleep. Room was what we were expected. It was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing that was an issue was the AC was super loud. It was on high when we we arrived and the room was nice and cool, But the fan was really loud. We called the front office and told them, told us to put it on low and shouldn't be loud anymore. We did... And helped but still was loud, but not as loud. Everytime the AC would kick on it made a very loud clunking banging. It keeped us up all night. Every 10-15 mins, it would bang and it would wake us up. In the morning we were exhausted as we had napped pretty much all night. We checked out and this stay was one of our worst hotel stays we've had in a long time.

Very, very old hotel, not the greatest part of town. Think I would pay a bit more and upgrade to a bit nicer place next time. Would not be comfortable staying here alone.

Lots of options for breakfast, although there was no fruit and the eggs weren’t fully real. Our hotel carpet was damp and needed a dehumidifier in the room as it smelled musky and there was food left in fridge from previous people that wasn’t cleaned out, but as soon as I notified the front desk they were most apologetic and came to clean it right away and was adamant to do something about a discount on the room. Otherwise things were clean. Heard the people above us walking around a lot at night so not very sound proof. Staff was wonderful. Hot tub is small.

Very clean and well maintained. Front desk was exceptionally pleasant. The air conditioner in my room was pretty loud kicking on/off all night, but that didnt bother me as much as it might someone else (used to sleeping with a seasoned snorer!). Breakfast - scrambled eggs were dried out and not replenished very quickly. Overall a good stay from a frequent traveler.
