Low budget motel that's OK for a night but you don't want to hang out in the room

Breakfast was not great. We ended up going to Cracker Barrel. Pool was cold, cloudy, And to many kids in it for the size. Kids running up and down the halls till 10 pm. Carpet was dirty. Jot impressed. Staff was very nice.

Good breakfast. Hot meat and eggs rotate daily; waffle iron, the usual fruit, yogurt, cereal. Nice to have lemon water available 24/7 in lobby.

We enjoyed our stay as the room was so nice and it was so quiet. Never heard any noises or doors slamming. Needed this after we lost electricity in a cottage we were staying in. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. The staff were so helpful and accommodating.

We stayed in the Club level. It was so nice to have snacks and drinks available. The breakfast was equally nice and convenient. We could take our plates to our room as an option. Our room was cozy and stylish. Our fridge was stocked with drinks (included in club level) and we even had chocolates at our bedside. Some areas of improvement: DishTV, get rid of it, go to cable or streaming channels, we gave up trying to watch anything. Ran out of kleenex, didn’t see another box anywhere (yes I could have called down for more - would be nice to stock an extra box somewhere). Also the body wash in the shower was teeny tiny, and we would have ran out easily after 2 showers. I used the bar soap at the sink. The beautiful room was European tiny, but we had a very comfortable bed, and a long couch along the window with the fancy automatic buttons to open /close our blinds. Took us a few minutes to find those buttons on the wall near our heads. For the price I was happy with our stay, and very happy we chose club level as another reviewer had suggested. Next time I travel to Midland this is where I would stay, I’ll just pack some body wash and kleenex.
