Resort feeling of getting away

A very quiet town (except for multiple trains nearby) next to the Cheat River. Clean, spacious room across the street from good full bar.

The interior of the small apartment was clean. The bed was uncomfortable, however; the mattress needs to be replaced. We knew it was a double bed, but rolling into each other made for a bad night's sleep which was aggravated by the amazing number of dump trucks who ground through their gears rounding the corner of Route 7. On the other hand, after I asked for a hot plate so I could boil some water for dinner, the host provided us with a pot, steamer, and wonderful hot plate that worked perfectly.

Checking in and out was quick and easy. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We were given our choice of floors. If we come back through this area we will stay here again. The room was compact but we didn't need anything else.
