“It was an amazing experience to stay in this hotel, staff are very nice and friendly, hotel is beautiful, well designed, the room is very clean. I will definitely come back again.”
“I absolutely LOVED my stay at the hotel. It was beautiful and located in such as easy to access part of Porto. It was such a walkable area. The decore was lovely and the hotel was so clean. breakfast was delicious- simple but more than enough options. On top of all that, there were always an assortment of pastries viable, as well as consistent access to coffee. ”
“Couldn’t say anything wrong about this hotel. Fantastic staff, beautiful building, beautiful room and real personalised service with this place. Home away from home! Must stay! ”
“This hotel is very clean as well as beautiful. The location is good, we can reach to famous places within 15min walk.
Also, all staffs are very friendly and helpful. ”
“The hotel is located at a VERY nice point to overview the bridge Luis. It´s beautiful to have the sunrise and sunset sightseeing from the hotel.
Our room was in the 12th floor, the bridge is at the 14th floor level of the hotel, the room wtih river side view is preferred!
The breakfast is with plenty selection of food, the cheese board, the bread and the fruit varieties are not extremely large, but already good enough to a satisfactory breakfast.
The metro is at the corner of the hotel, it’s……
“This is one of the best hotel experience I have. Very stylish design of hotel, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff who is willing to share with you anything about the city. Great breakfast too!”
“Very comfortable! Located inside of a cafe, each floor is one unit, n the elevator brings u to ur own unit. Really cool. Breakfast is decent, cos we arrived on Christmas Eve n no one works on the next morning,so they prepared our breakfast in the fridge for us.
Only con is bathroom design is weird, u can't possibly keep the toilet area dry after showering.
Overall, super recommended! ”
“Upscale and in meticulous condition. In Gaia region but loved the extra steps walking across the bridge to Porto. Put the view from Gaia side of Porto is picture perfect. Breakfast was excellent.”
“Is a great place to stay, don't be afraid of the small street where is located, you wjll have a great surprise as soon as you open the dorr of the building”
"Two reasons you should consider this hotel but many more reasons not to book!
Good things: the spa and restaurant staff are great, and the location is exceptional but they’re many other hotels next door.
Bad things:
- unfriendly receptionist: the receptionists were not attentive and friendly throughout my 3-day stay, especially the one who checked me in. I just looked at the other guest comments, it seems my bad experience was not unique to me.
- Room conditions: the room has a very small window (like a prison) that offers almost no natural night. Hotels.com must indicate this in the room description because people like me do mind. Also, the room size is small.
- Noise: Throughout my entire stay, I could not sleep well because of the noise coming from both inside and outside of the hotel. Imagine disco music is On till 2am.
- Housekeeping: the bathrobes were being removed from the room and clean towels were not refilled. The cleaning and amenities were random - good luck!
Extra charge: 20 Euro for the receptionist to just make a phone call to get a taxi, while the taxi ride costs just 10 Euro. I’d rather pay an extra fee to the taxi driver who actually delivered a service and drove me to the train station safely. Where does it say in the hotel’s public information on this extra charge? Shouldn't it be a part of the 5-star hotel? "

The metro is at the corner of the hotel, it’s convenient to take the public transportation to anywhere. There are also small restaurants near by, no problem with the kind of food at all.
The only concern is the sound proof from the hall, when the children run or screaming at the corridor, and closing the room doors, the sound it really loud and annoying for the people who want to stay in room and have a rest."
