"Beautiful on the inside. Very relaxing!! The only reason I gave 4 on listing is because when it said next to water I thought it was on the water. You can see the water partly off the deck so it's close but you have to go across other people's property to get there but it's still a good view"

"Great overnight here. Clean, quiet room. Comfortable bed. Nice shower. Right in town so very convenient. Toilet area is small and I am not, but for one or two nights it’s manageable. Historic nature of the place is lovely Well cared for bit of history. "

"We will try to stay here again the next time we travel. This is an old motel that very caring and hard working owners have turned into a comfortable, solid option. The beds were very comfortable, and the pillows were plentiful and fluffy. I slept better than I have at most places. The room needed some repairs, but it was absolutely spotless and well supplied. As I sat in the very simple lobby with my morning coffee (breakfast is simple, but varied), other guests said very complimentary things to the owners. I clearly wasn’t the only one who noticed the quality of the service. Please note that the place is old. It needs renovation. But I was happy to patronize these hard working owners. I wish them the very best in their endeavor. "

"We came for a family function and didn't know the area. The hotel staff were friendly, had a fast check in, and they kept our coffee replenished every day which is a must lol. Well definitely stay here again if the need arises "

"The hotel was nice clean….they were short staffed so our room didn’t get cleaned even though we requested it I even spoke to the cleaning crew and still no new towels trash not picked up I had to go down to the front desk and get the items myself. The older lady at the front desk was amazing I can’t remember her name but she was friendly and funny and VeRy helpful! I can’t say the same for the other front desk person! The pool was clean. The elevator didn’t work most of our stay"
