Huntsdale Vacations from $327

The whole experience was great from checking in to checking out. There’s plenty to do around the city. Extremely clean and friendly people. Nice park within walking distance. Just such a nice stay.

Unfortunately, our experience at The Elms did not live up to the expectations or the price we paid for our 3-night stay. Given the premium rates, especially for a busy weekend, we expected a higher standard of cleanliness, comfort, & attention to detail. Upon arriving late at night, I got into bed only to discover what appeared to be a blood stain on the bedding right my eye level. The bed also did not have a proper duvet cover, just an insert covered by sheets, which was disappointing for a hotel of this caliber. The carpet in our suite had numerous visible spots and did not appear to have been vacuumed, to the point that we were uncomfortable walking on it barefoot. We also found leftover food in the freezer of the mini refrigerator from a previous guest. The bathroom presented another significant issue. None of the two faucets or two showerheads had adequate water flow. We had to call maintenance, and the staff member who came to assist us was very pleasant and helpful. We were told that water had been shut off earlier in the week for pipe cleaning, & rust buildup in the faucet ,& showerheads was causing the problem. While we appreciated the maintenance staff's response, this was an issue that should have been identified and resolved before guests checked into the room. Additionally, despite asking, our empty body wash was never replenished during our entire 3-night stay. We also had dinner reservations at the Three Owls restaurant on Saturday evening. After being seated a

The only issue we had is both nights we were there the heat in the room stuck on and the temp got up too 80 degrees it happen a total of 3 times the second night the front desk was closed for a half hour and so it took a little longer to get someone to fix the team was 73 when first noticed at about 3:05 it reached 80 when the man got there to fix the first night did not get up till it was 78 degrees when the front desk was notified all three times someone was there within 10 min other wise room was excellent

Our room was clean, spacious, and the bathroom was well stocked with towels, toilet paper, and lotions. From checkin to checkout the staff were always cheerful and helpful. There was a variety of breakfast selections that were available. Parking was great and the location of this facility was near several areas where shopping and restaurants were numerous. This was a great place to stay.
