It was a great hotel. Loved everything about it. Only issue was the placement of the armoire was blocking the flow of the air conditioner so it wasn’t cooling the room as much as we needed. But everything else was awesome!

The room seemed renovated, although with very hard surfaces and very bright lights (all ceiling lights, no lamps). But bed was comfortable and there was good shower pressure and everything seemed clean.

The room was very clean. Bathroom needs updated. We needed a few more blankets. Otherwise, very clean and easy to check in and out.

We stayed at the Westerner 7/25/25 for one night. The property is still under renovation. The internet/wi-fi in our room was very slow. We tried to stream a movie and it kept buffering so we gave up on watching TV. Our room needed still needed some repairs especially the bathroom door that dragged loudly each time we tried to close the door. The shower had good water pressure. The walls and ceiling were thin. You could hear voices from the room next door and the heavy footsteps above us. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was awesome! The pool was nice but full of kids so we did not take advantage of the pool. Access to the property from the highway was a little tricky. We had to circle around to enter the parking lot. There was ample parking for guest, however, when the hotel has an event, parking becomes limited. Access to shopping and other restaurants is very good. Our overall review on the hotel is fair. We will wait until all the renovations are completed before considering staying at the Westerner. They still have a long way to go and we would recommend staying on the top floor if you don't want to hear people walking around above you.
