We came into to the area the night before my daughter's surgery since the hotel was less than 2 miles from the hospital and we had to be there at 5 a.m. So that was great. However, the room smelled like pets. I am aware that this is a pet friendly hotel but the scent shouldn't be the first thing I encountered. After spraying the room down with Lysol and going out to buy some carpet fresh, we had a decent night. That was until the power went out at 4:00 a.m. and there was no backup generator. I would like to point out that the staff extended breakfast hours and granted me a late checkout. I was able to stay there until my daughter was out of surgery instead of having to wait in the cold hospital. Honestly if it wasn't for the smell, I would have given all high marks.

Great hotel. The beds were comfortable and the free breakfast was wonderful. Our room was quiet. The only thing we didn’t like was that it was late at night and the night clerk told us to drive around to the back of the hotel and park back there to get to our room. We later discovered that we could have parked out front where it felt safer and used a luggage cart for all our bags and gone in through the front lobby and gotten to our room that way. Our room was not far from the lobby and that would have felt safer than having to go around back and leave our car behind the hotel. That entrance was the workers entrance by the laundry facility and looked worn down and had giant carts of dirty laundry in front of the door. The front entrance is very nice and up to date and much more welcoming. I would not send hotel guests to the laundry room entrance. That made no sense to me. Other than that, our stay was great and we would stay there again!

Clean, quiet, excellent service at the front desk

Hubby and I stayed in King bed room. Would stay again. No issues.
