“Mussa and his team are fabulous. I went with my two sons in July 2026. The location of Pumba Luxury Camp is amazing. You feel the thrill of sleeping in the middle of the bush, surrounded by tall grass and wondering what animals could be hiding there. But the staff is constantly patrolling the area. No need to worry. They always escort you from your tent the lobby and dining area, and back again. Very attentive people. And kind. They taught Swahili words to my sons :) great human capital in Pumba……

“We booked this lodge almost a year ago. It is a new and there were no reviews at the time of booking. We arrived at 1330 and we were not able to access our room until 1400. Once we entered the room the temperature was well over 90F/32C. There is no fan in the room. There are two small windows in the rear, however there is no screen to keep the bugs out. Contacted the property multiple times over months with the same request and they rarely if ever responded. When I contacted them about missing my flight they had the audacity to inform me that I "only booked for 1 person" which contradicted my many emails and the hotels.com booking for 1 room with 2 adults.
