"We left within an hour of arrival. I'd advise you check reviews from a range of sources prior to booking this hotel. The imagery and description of this hotel provides an idea of a calm, relaxing retreat in the countryside with excellent facilities. Unfortunately, upon arrival, it was clear there was a large group who had occupied the hotel with blaring music with a live DJ, poolside. "Pleasant three- or four-storey guesthouse (to call it a hotel would be stretching it) on the steep hillside just a stone’s throw from Kutaisi’s Bagrati Cathedral. The location is both a blessing and a bit of a curse – the main market, bridges, central park and all the city-centre amenities are just 10–15 minutes’ walk away, but getting up to the hotel means a climb of more than 100 steps (or you can use the winding road). "Giorgi was an incredible host. He was attentive and always available to answer questions. His fluent English made it easy for us to communicate. The room was amazingly clean with a mini fridge that included a freezer enabling me to keep my water ice cold. The attention to detail including providing toiletries, coffee, bathrobe, disposable slippers, bottled water etc made for a very comfortable stay.
