“This was my second visit! My two cats and I stayed here. We spent our time outside doing a lot of reading and making art. The cabin was super peaceful, and clean! I also took the time to go explore the local towns, and enjoyed hikes. Overall it was a great time!”

“What a relaxing weekend! No phones, TV, internet. Awesome place to get away from it all. So peaceful and nice. The Bunk house was really cool. Decorated just right. It was cold so we made use of the wood stove which gave off the best warmth. Beautiful surroundings. Great place to stay. Highly recommend!”

“You can definitely feel the love that went into this space. Lisa and Stephen built an amazing treehouse, and the whole property is very special. It's very unique and well crafted, with a lovely view of the mountains through the trees. It's rustic yet also very comfortable and cozy. The clawfoot tub and fire stove make it especially relaxing.”

“What a great place! Peaceful and quiet. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need. Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we couldn’t hang outside by the fire pit but the screened in porch is a nice extension of the home. The hosts reached out to make sure everything was going well and it was. There is a gas station/cafe around the bend and the cafe has really good food, especially for breakfast. The gas station has hunt brothers pizza and that was good as well.……

“Beautiful views and nice amenities. We enjoyed a hot tub sunset looking at the beautiful mountains! It was within 15 minutes of the state park for nice hiking and downtown West Jefferson, which is a very viable small town.”

I was a little skeptical about all 10s involving the reviews posted, but this place is truly excellent if you like to get away from it all. Kathy is a wonderful host and of all the places we have been, this place by far has been the best!”

“Great location and beautiful views. Has everything you need to have a nice stay and close to Stone Mountain State park! Loved the hot tub! Perfect view and very quiet.Easy to check in and find! I would suggest you bring a small shovel to clean out he ashes in the fire pit as it was full. The only thing I would suggest to the owner is I would clean the grates in the grill and grease them. You might want to consider replacing the grill. Overall I would definitely recommend this as a great……

“This house is situated in a gorgeous riverfront setting with a large deck that wraps around 2 sides of the house. Having 5 bedrooms and 3 baths was perfect for our large group coming for the VT Graduation. **please note - this rental doesn’t include sheets or towels so come prepared. The listing did not state this (VRBOs fault, not the owner) so we had a last minute scramble but the owner was extremely helpful and accommodating and got us squared away.
