“I just do not understand how this property gets such a good rating. The property is so run down. Not exactly filthy, but in really bad shape. All the corners are full of accumulated dirt. The bedding seemed clean, but I really was not comfortable here. There are no amenities except for two small bars of soap. No hair dryer, iron, shampoo, nothing! Look at the photo I attached of one of the electrical outlets. Is this the kind of property that you want to promote on Expedia? This is a……

“I found the staff to be very polite, friendly, and accommodating. The room was very clean and did not smell musty as other hotels I have been in as the room did not have a carpeted floor. There was plenty of parking and the grounds were clean. ”

“We traveled with our dogs for the first time and Red Roof Inn's pet fee is substantially cheaper than most hotels. One place charges $75 per pet, while RRI the first pet is free and $15 for each dog after that. The place is very affordable, was very clean and they put us near the grassy area as well. We will absolutely be using RRI in the future when traveling with our dogs. ”

“The pet fee per dog is very high. We already paid about $150 for the room but were told there would be a $75 fee for each of our 3 dogs. The breakfast is really basic with no hot foods, the hotel needs updates and is very overpriced for the condition of the rooms and facility. The pet area is not close to the hotel as well. We stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Wytheville a week later and it was substantially cheaper, the grass area is much closer and the rooms are about the same condition. At RRI……

“The pool was closed and didn’t use exercise room, so idk about that. Our room was not clean, hair on floor in bathroom, smoke detector hanging from ceiling, a person was LIVING in room beside us and would throw his trash bags out on lawn and had visitors throughout the night (loud). Toilet ran throughout the night, breakfast, if you like Sunny D and frozen breakfast sandwiches. The staff was understanding and apologetic. We booked through 3rd part so they really couldn’t do anything. Place……
