"The place is big and comfortable, the shower is perfect - hot with good pressure. Breakfast is good - eggs, bread and jam, coca tea, coffee and juice. The staff are great and knowledgeable about tours and can arrange them for you . The only negative is that there are many neighbourhood dogs which are so noisy barking all night that I couldn't sleep well. Bring earplugs. The hotel is highly recommended."

"El Tumi must be the Fawlty Towers of Peru. Very friendly staff, and very little that really works. The toilet in my room would only flush if I had the hot wayer tap in the sink running. The cold water tap in the sink would only run if the cold water tap in the shower was running. I was only staying one night so I didn't complain but enjoyed the fun. When checking out the reception took about 20 minutes to figure out what room I stayed in and how much I should pay. The room itself was a bit worn...
