"We loved our stay in this cabin! My grandparents owned a nearby resort years ago, and our stay brought back good memories of years long past. We had one very hot day—the lake felt great but the cabin got toasty! Thankfully there were fans and the temps came down overnight. The rest of our stay was perfect and peaceful. While the cabin was from the 50’s era, the modern amenities were much appreciated. The lake was quite shallow, so we as adults couldn’t easily swim, but the water lounge chair and swim noodles we brought with us made the lake time fun. Definitely would recommend this place for a summer getaway!"

"House was clean and well appointed and has a bunch of games and tv. Has multiple spots for fire pits. Great layout for 2 families with kids. Lake is super clear and big and great for swimming, pulling a tube, or water skiing. Rented very nice boat from owner. We had a great time and would return!"

"The property is like new condition and was immaculate upon arrival. Amazing views to the lake and great deck to sit out and enjoy the views. We had rented a pontoon in town and enjoyed see many Loons with their babies out on the lake. We'll be back!"

"Very well taken care of cabin in an extremely relaxing setting. It was very clean, despite having neighbors a couple hundred yards away, felt very private. The Loons & Frogs are the only sounds around sunrise and sunset, with a pair of eagles talking to each other as they fished. Would highly recommend for a place to paddle and decompress. "

"Beautiful historic log cabin with all the amenities you would want. The grounds are well kept and very scenic. The area is very peaceful, relaxing, and interesting. This is our second year coming to the Marcel Lodge and have had a fantastic experience both times."
