"Our 4 night stay in March was great. Beautiful view from balcony; the weather was sufficiently warm for us to enjoy breakfast on the balcony two mornings -- an unexpected treat. Spacious, well appointed. Appreciated access to washing machine and dryer. Host was very responsive and informative. Check in process was easy. Easy access to National Park trails to snowshoe and Cape Smokey to go downhill skiing. Hope to stay again. "

"An incredible property and an amazing host. Great view from second floor oceanside room. Breakfast was delicious with so many options. Host made suggestion to visit White Point, which was truly speculative. Highly recommend the Castle Rock Country Inn. 😊 "

"Kitchen appeared clean. We did not use the kitchen facilities.It was lovely walking into the washroom to find it warm.The room was very clean, the heater was nice to warm up the chilly room. The bed and bedding was comfortable.Checkin was easy and straight forward."

"Wonderful location for visiting Cape Breton and especially the Cabot Trail! Uli was so kind to have a fire already going in the fireplace and we immediately felt welcomed and at home at Maggie's place. The peace and quiet and fall colors were beyond our expectations for this much needed get away for my husband and myself. We were very Blessed to have attended the first night of the Celtic Colours Festival in Port Hawkesberry.We had everything we needed at our fingertips and Uli is very responsive to any needs that we had or questions about the area. "
