Whether we were snowshoeing or hiking all about the property, playing board games by the cozy fire, or relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the amazing views of the night sky, it was a first-rate experience all around. The only thing to top the wonderful setting and amenities were the gracious and welcoming hosts. Neill and Amanda were more than accommodating before, during, and after our stay, attentive to our every need, and we look forward to returning with our women’s ice hockey group again next winter! The house was well appointed and we LOVED having 2 coffee pots. Honestly, from now on I will expect that when we have more than 4 people sharing a home. Even having 2 almost complete kitchens allowed more than 2 people to share the food workload while still being near everyone. The younger people tried to get the in-house stereo system to work but were unable. That would have been nice, however our time was limited and I did not bring it up with the homeowners. Now that they know perhaps it's something that would be able to be fixed. Just a nice bonus for those musically inclined. I would have like to have seen a photo of the third bathroom. It is an en suite with the downstairs bedroom, but considerably smaller than the other two. Had I known I would have assigned rooms differently. The backyard/grounds are beautiful and very well maintained, and we loved using the hot tub and fire pit and looking out at the mountain views. There is a lot of space and the house seemed sound proof, which was nice since we were with family and kids ranged from age 2-10! The library was so cozy.
