Stylish Garden Flat Near Loch Ness

Looking for a stopover for Nessie spotting and the famous Urquhart Castle in the Scottish Highlands? Our Stylish Garden Flat in Drumnadrochit village is the perfect base. The village is home to the Loch Ness Monster, situated halfway along the popular west shore of Loch Ness. It is close to Urquhart Castle and the Nessie Exhibition Centre. Only 12 miles to Inverness and on the route to the Isle of Skye, it has a supermarket, restaurants, cafes, and petrol.

The Space
Our Garden flat is on the historic Lewiston Road of Drumnadrochit, just a 10- 15-minute walk from the village centre. Close to Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle and local amenities like pubs, café, supermarkets, restaurants, petrol, and bus, it is an ideal base for a short or long visit. You will also find various nature hikes right at your doorstep, including Great Glen Way, Balmacaan Woods, Glen Affric, and Divach Falls etc. Situated in a quiet residential area with the tranquil River Coiltie flowing through its back garden, our flat provides a peaceful rest after a day of sightseeing.

For those with limited time, a stay of 1-2 nights allows for a brief visit to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle ruins. For a more immersive and relaxing experience, we recommend 3-5 nights to fully explore the stunning Highlands. Locally, you can drive around Loch Ness and take various well-maintained and signposted local hikes to enjoy the beautiful landscapes, lochs, ancient woodlands, red squirrels and herds of deer. Nearby, you can use Drumnadrochit as a base to explore attractions all around, within 1-2 hours by car: Fort William for Ben Nevis, Glen Coe, Cairngorms National Park, Outlander sites, and various whisky distilleries.

Our Flat has been renovated to a high standard with a modern bathroom, kitchen and new flooring. We have decorated the flat to create a comfortable home away from home, perfect for a family holiday. It can accommodate a maximum group of 6 people but ideally for 4. It has 2 bedrooms: a spacious double bedroom for 2 adults and a smaller room with a bunkbed, ideal for 2 kids or a snug fit for 2 adults. Additionally, the large living room has a double sofa bed for 2 more guests. The sofa beddings are provided and fully made up.

There is also an outdoor patio with a picnic table for eating outside and a free parking space for one vehicle. The flat is fully equipped for a cosy and comfortable stay, and we maintain it to a high standard of cleanliness. We live only a couple of minutes away. Our guests benefit from having a local host nearby for travel tips or assistance.
