Ipsala Vacation Packages
From much-loved, tourist hotspots to lesser known nooks and crannies, the area around Ipsala is crisscrossed with things to do and see. Patara and Bolayir are two more places worth seeing while you're in Turkey.
Around 55 miles (89 kilometers) to the north of Ipsala is Edirne, a regional city where you go see Trakya University, Eski Mosque and Selimiye Mosque. Serefeli Mosque and Bedesten are some of the other interesting sights here that should be on every visitor's schedule.
You'll find a few moments of serenity at Turkey's monasteries. Every place contains a specific history and this area has its own fair share of stories to tell. The ruins in these parts are particularly interesting.
Take a break from seeing the sights and cool off with a spot of rafting or swimming. Get a totally different perspective of Turkey by taking to the air. Hot air ballooning is a great way to spend a few hours here.
For lots of people, enjoying new places is as much about cuisines as it is about visiting tourist attractions so make sure to sample the food and drinks at the region's restaurants. Local favorite foods include boyoz (pastry) and kaburga dolması (stuffed ribs), but naturally there are many other fine options to choose from. Baklava (pastry with chopped nuts) is a commonly eaten last course. Efes Light is a common drink here. So head to the nearest drinking establishment, pull up a stool and give it a try!
At the conclusion of your time in region, pack up your gear and wish Turkey "Hoşçakal" (farewell).
