“Absolute gem of a B&B with wonderfully welcoming hosts, a great room with comfortable bed and fully private bathroom with shower. The breakfast truly was outstanding, the location lovely and quiet but not too far from the main road. Highly recommend, as good as a 4 four star hotel at a fraction of the price. Excellent!”

“Sligo was such a quiet and charming place. We enjoyed our time there. We stayed in Riverside Hotel for 1 night, the very spacious room, nice staff and delicious food gave us very good impression. The room was just face the river, which had amazing view. After checking out for days, we met some unhappy misunderstanding with the hotel, but finally the hotel management dealt with it effectively.”

“John and his staff are welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great. Woodhill House is old world beautiful !!! We just loved it there. After a day of sightseeing it was nice to come back relax have a pint and good conversation with John. Will definitely be back!!!!”

Spacious room, really clean and comfortable with the added bonus of air con which was brilliant with the weather being so hot. Would highly recommend staying here, right in town so you can walk just about anywhere”

“Excellent hotel. The whole reception and general public areas were spotlessly clean and welcoming. Evening meal was delicious. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. I will happily stay here again. The only negative comment (and it's not really a negative) is that there is no pool. Overall a very pleasant stay. ”
