“Kevin and Christina were in touch with us if needed but everything was explained very well in the messages they sent us. Everything was as expected and we were welcomed with a personal touch as well as a local sweet treat! It's a nice rustic cozy log cabin with plenty of room for the 4 of us. It had a new washer and dryer, dish washer, plenty of room in the bedrooms, and the loft area was nice. Very peaceful relaxing area not far from local stores. “The place was just simply amazing. I know it's primarily used as a hunting lodge or base for trail riding, but my wife, daughter and 3 year old granddaughter loved it. From the cabin itself to the way it was decorated with the mounts that were actually harvested off the property gave it so much character and charm. “This motel was great to explore the area. It was close to the highway and good for an overnight. The room was clean and the area was safe. While the hotel was dated and could use a little TLC, we would definitely recommend Katahdin Valley Motel for anyone looking to explore the beauty in this part of Maine.”

“Excellent use of space in this sweet little camp. It had everything we needed and then some. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area. I had also specifically looked for a place with no Wifi, this is hard to come by, but it kept my kids mostly off their phones and actually reading/ spending time together.
