The hotel itself was very nice and the staff were welcoming. The complimentary breakfast is good but could be varied. The room was clean and comfortable with working AC. The roof terrace has stunning views of the mosque,sea and other landmarks. This was completely misleading and I am very surprised at the high ranking this hotel has considering what actually happens on the ground. The place is rundown, unkempt and very basic accommodations. Maximum a 2 star hotel. The breakfast is beyond terrible with stale bread and very few options all served in the basement of the hotel with a vacuum cleaner stored underneath the buffet table. The employees have an attitude to them and won’t do absolutely anything outside of what they think are their responsibilities. Nobody on the premises wears a uniform of any sort contributing to the feeling that you are staying at a cheap hostel instead of at a hotel. I could go on and on for hours. This hotel needs to receive more bad reviews and hotels.com needs to make sure the true comments are not deleted in order to stop scamming and confusing customers.
