We only stayed there for two nights, but we wished we stayed longer. The place looks brand new. A lot of areas to hang out within the hotel. The room was clean and very modern and got cleaned daily. The rainfall shower was a plus. They also had set up a sofa bed for us as requested. There was also an iron for the clothes which I alway prefer while in vacation. The location is amazing. You have everything within walking distance; cafes, restaurants, shops, galata tower, taksim square. We had a blast with our toddler, it was very quiet. They also have a spa which we didn't use. The only down thing would be a doorman to help with the luggage. Idk if they were short staffed at the time but it was only a receptionist. However it didn't spoil our stay. The wifi is fast which doesn't happen very often in Istanbul. If you have any doubts just book this place!

Fantastic place, as a design builder I was quite pleased with the design element and flow of the place. Made me feel right st home. Hammam spa built inside as well. I’ll definitely be returning when I come back.

BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL!!! They charged me over $162 for doing my laundry for no more than 15 pieces of clothes. The clothes were pajamas so not even anything heavy. they didn’t even tell me how it would be they just charged my account when I left.

Book the suite but i was given a room that look nothing like it. Told the staff about it and they were nice enough to offer a change of room the following day when the other suite are check out but was unable to do so because they need me to be around at 11am-12pm but i already have plans. In the end just made do with the room that was given.

Pros: Nicely renovated hotel with huge room and the usual art Deco design by Room Mate series Location is closed to shops and main shopping street Staffs are extremely friendly and helpful - esp Okan, Ibrahim. Yulia, Baha ... fantastic people Cons: at the top of a steep hill; quite hard to walk up ; esp if elderly or low fitness Surroundings a bit run down and noisy at night with discos and dark alleys Location quite hard for Taxi to reach unless they are familiar Streets are very narrow Unfortunately, my booking comes with breakfast and I was not informed when I checked in. A pity.

Comfortable bed was a huge plus! The breakfast was a rip off though. We ate it out of exhausted desperation one morning and were charged $35 usd each for something we could have gotten for a few bucks at any restaurant nearby.
