The location is amazing, very peaceful, surrounding villages are stunning, overall a great location. The hotel, though, was quite old and run down. We booked as thought to be family and child friendly but it seems more targeted for senior visitors. The swimming pool was a good surprise, nice and big, perfect for the hot weather. The main problem was lack of air conditioning, it was a very hot day/night, making it impossible to sleep with the heat.

The first room #16 was totally unacceptable with damp and mold settling around the vent. Not at all what we were expecting. After complaining we were upgraded to the largest room in the hotel which is what we thought we would get in the first place. The best part of the experience was meeting the chef, Olivier Lataste who created sumptuous meals for us.

Loved the location! Straight shot to the beach and nearby restaurants and bars and right by the train station as well! Hotel was nice and clean and beds were comfortable. Wonderful property and would love to stay again!

"This place should be shut down - forget about the reasonable price because when a property is this run down they shouldn't be taking anyone's money! It was dirty and poorly equipped and l am surprised it would pass health and safety regulations. We were booked for two nights but only tolerated one ..."
